Hurricane Symbol Earrings and Keychain 3D files
"3D printing is a hobby filled with experimentation. Results may vary depending on your printer settings, filament, and equipment."
This is not for a physical product. This is for the file that will be used to 3D print the item. This is my first trial and after making a sample so tweaking may need to be done to the files.
When I make my earrings, the first thing I do is print it rough without adjusting the settings. It gives me a quick idea of what it will look like and then I just put it in my $1 box. I make at least 1 keychain and 1 pair of earrings. If I want an idea on time because I like the way the design is coming out, I will put several on it and slice the plate. I print it like that and it gives my customers little $1 items they like for their kids usually.
I know they come out better with .2 nozzles, but I am not comfortable changing the nozzle over and over so I keep my .4 on it. Once I get another printer, one will stay with the .2 nozzle and the other will stay .4.
I also print at .28 layer height with an initial .24-.26 height when I do it initially and change settings when I print them to sell at my shows. The files I post are my creation files and my first print because I may not make them for a while. Due to lack of space, I do not make them until they are needed.
If you are buying the files to print and you are new, message me and I can explain how to change the settings if you don't want to google it. As far as what your settings need to be, it will depend on your preferences.
